Organized online with the locals from Quebec, a handful of us hooked up for a really soulful trip to the furthest east I have ever been in Quebec. Past St-Anne-de-Beaupre and across the river from Baie-St-Paul a fairy takes you to ĪLE-AUX-COUDRES. Jacques Cartier gave it its name in 1535, after finding numerous hazel trees in this region. The first holy mass ever celebrated in Canada took place on this island.

Great camaraderie with fellow windsurfers and a taste of Salt water in Quebec. The shoreline had a flat zone for a t least 200 meters but the steady wind gave us confidence to ride far across towards the mountainous shoreline of Charlevoix where the best waves formed. An amazing place to travel too and windsurf.
